Siôn has spent £1,500 on a marriage licence for the Deri
Siôn is happy that the marriage licence for the Deri has arrived, but Britt does not share his enthusiasm when he tells her it cost £1,500.
Britt is worried he is dipping into Bethania's funds again
“You haven’t taken more money from Bethania, have you,” she asks, but he says it was paid for with the credit card.
Ed finds out how much he can expect for the ring
Upstairs, Ed is researching jewellery online, but Sioned is anxious that he should get rid of the ring as soon as possibly;
"I don't want it here!"
“I don’t want it here,” she insists.
Garry thinks it is a bit like being in court
Dani and Garry are in the chapel, and Garry feels uncomfortable, likening it to a court;  Siôn informs him that the Deri now has a licence, so they could marry there if they felt more comfortable.
"Get married in a pub?"
Dani exclaims, “Get married in a pub?   I love Garry and he loves me.   We want a pulpit and stained glass – not a dartboard and pork scratchings, OK?”
Megan is not happy at what she heard
Megan, in her chapel cleaning rôle, hears this exchange, and when Dani and Garry have gone, hopes that Siôn is not drumming up trade for the Deri at Bethania’s expense.   “Enough people are turning their backs on chapels, without your encouragement!” she scolds him.
Dani is allergic to her ring
Dani goes to the Deri to find it is her surprise hen party, and complains that her ring irritates her finger.
Sioned is going to try swapping the rings
Sioned looks guilty, and goes upstairs to tell Ed;  “You can’t sell that one now,” she tells him, but he tells her the rash will clear up.   “Are you a doctor as well as a thief?” she says, and takes the real ring, in the hope of effecting a swap.
"House to ourselves.  Come round. xx"
As the hen party continues, Sheryl receives a text, informing her that the coast is clear, so she makes an excuse about needing to go to the salon, and leaves.
Sioned does not get a chance to effect a swap
Sioned brings some lotion for Dani’s finger, but she will not take off the ring again, as she is afraid of losing it.
Siôn is about to tell Megan what he has done . . .
Siôn sits, thinking, in Bethania, and Megan asks if he feels he made the right decision, buying the Deri.   He tells her, “I’m trying to find my feet, and it is always on my mind.”   Britt comes in, looking for him, and is just in time to interrupt as he says to Megan, “It’s complicated – when I bought the Deri . . .”
. . . when Britt arrives, and gives him his orders
After Megan has gone, Britt snarls, “You were about to confess!”   He replies that he has to tell someone, but Britt warns, “We’re talking fraud – you could be sent to prison.   You’re not going to tell anyone – understand?”
Randy Hywel is just getting started
Hywel and Sheryl are snogging on the sofa;  despite Hywel’s assurance that Gaynor is on an all-day course, Sheryl regards it as too much of a risk.   He tells her he will make lunch.
"We shall have to tell Dani the truth!"
Sioned reports back to Ed that Dani refuses to take off the ring, so they will have to tell her the truth.   “We’re better than this, we’re not thieves, that rash won’t disappear,” she tells him,
"And if you won't tell her, I will!"
“If you won’t tell them, I will!”   Ed insists he will not let her take the blame, and says he has no choice.
Their little tryst is about to be interrupted
Hywel plies Sheryl with wine, but she says she ought to go back to the Deri;  “I love being with you, but not here!” she says.
Sheryl is reduced to skulking behind the door
As they kiss, they hear the front door open, and Sheryl cowers behind the front room door, while Hywel learns that the speaker was ill, so the course was cancelled.
Quick-thinking Hywel suggests before lunch, a bit of . . .
She sees the food cooking, and fancies some lunch.   Hywel, eager to extricate himself from an embarrassing situation, suggests to Gaynor that while they are waiting for the food to cook, “We could do something else in the meantime.”
. . . on the way upstairs he gives Sheryl the nod
He leads her upstairs, and gives Sheryl the nod that she can escape.
"What's this about?"
“Why have you dragged me away from my own hen party?” Dani demands of Ed.   He informs her, “Your ring – isn’t yours!”   When he produces the original ring, she demands, “What’s going on?”   He tells her that he bought a cheap one, and was going to sell hers, as he is desperate for money, and is sorry.
"You will be sorry when I tell Garry!"
“Sorry?   You will be sorry when I tell Garry!” she shouts as she storms out;  in the bar she advises that the party is off, and hurries home.
Understandably, Garry is far from happy to hear about this, and when Ed and Sioned are on the way up to his flat, he comments, “This should be interesting.”
A rather sheepish couple face the wrath of Garry Monk
Ed starts by saying it was a misunderstanding;  “Oh yes – how?” asks Garry.”   It was a stupid idea,” adds Sioned, and Dani is surprised that she is in on it too.   Ed knows it is no excuse, but money is tight.
"Do you think that will stop me calling the police?"
“Do you expect that will stop me calling the police?” responds Garry, “Would you have admitted it if Dani were not allergic?   I’m not stupid.”
Dani urges him not to involve the police;  “There’s no point in wasting time on lowlife like them, let’s focus on the wedding.”
"You're the one who's desperate!"
Garry tells her she is too soft, and refuses the return of the £150 reward, saying, “You’re the one who’s desperate!”
"What if Megan finds out?"
As Britt and Siôn finish cleaning at Bethania, she tells him that if they work hard they can pay it all back, but Siôn asks, “What if Megan finds out before then?”
Siôn is not as confident as Britt
Britt replies that they have to ensure she does not find out;  he is giving something back to the community as he wanted, but must stop panicking.
"You did the right thing" — eventually
Back at the Deri flat, Sioned is very relieved that Garry did not call the police, and says she is proud of Ed for doing the right thing.   “Next time you find something in the taxi, give it back straightaway!” she advises.

"I'll be out of the door like a shot!"
Ed hopes that one day they might get engaged;  Sioned replies, “I love you, but if I see another engagement ring, I’ll be out of the door like a shot!”
